Please find below useful information about travel times, ski passes, lessons etc.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in at your accommodation is from 3pm, and check-out before 10am.
The nearest airport is Geneva (about 90 mins)
When booking flights into Geneva please aim to arrive between 1pm – 4pm.
Please aim for departure times from Geneva between 10am – 1pm.
LIFT PASSES
There are two types of lift passes available.
The Portes du Soleil pass covers all 12 resorts and 650km of pistes.
The Chatel pass covers the Chatel ski area and about 150km of pistes. We recommend this pass for small children and beginners.
The following prices are for 2019/20.
6 day Chatel Adult – €209
6 day Chatel Children – €157
6 day PDS Adult -€285
6 day PDS Children – €214
Children under 5 are free
SKI HIRE
We work with a great company called Ski Hire 2U who deliver the equipment to your Chalet and will then come out again if there are any issues or you need to make some changes.
The following prices are for 2019/20 so they may go up a couple of euros next season.
6 day Adult Skis and Boots – €91 – €137 (depending on ability)
6 day Children’s Ski and Boots – €51 – €58 (depending on height)
SKI LESSONS
Private Instructors – We work with the best instructors in the area and this is definitely the best way to improve your skiing technique and get the most from your time on the slopes.
€70 per hour plus €5 per additional person
Group Lessons – We work with BASS who have small group sizes (max 8) and excellent English instructors.
2hrs x 5 days = £215
Early booking is advised and kids lessons outside of school holidays is dependant on sufficient numbers.
CHILDCARE
Babysitters – We work with several experienced babysitters who can come to the chalet and look after little ones. The sitters will be happy to take the children outside for sledging, snowman making etc and we have lots of toys, games, books etc for indoor activities.
€20 – €25 per hour
Creche
There is a very nice Creche located in the village who can provide half day or full day childcare, for children up to 4 years old.
9am – 1pm x 6days =€165
9am – 5pm x 6 days = €278
Please note: Timings are quite strict
INSURANCE
Our holidays and the lift passes we arrange for you do not include insurance so we recommend you arrange this with your travel insurance
HOUSE RULES
For the comfort and safety of all our guests we do have a few house rules:
No smoking
No outdoor shoes
No felt tip pens
Fire to be used carefully
Children under 16 must be accompanied in the pool / spa areas
WEATHER

LUNCHES
I am afraid we do not include lunches at the chalet during your holiday, however we are always on hand to recommend and book one of the traditional mountain restaurants on the slopes.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
We have a very talented team of chefs who will make your holiday a gastronomic delight. However if you have any major likes, dislikes, allergies or dietary requirements then please note this on the booking form and we will adjust the menu accordingly.

Please note: There is a no shoe policy in all of our chalets so you may want to bring some slippers.
