Lunch in the Portes du Soleil

Top 5 Mountain Lunch spots in the Portes du Soleil

With such a huge ski domain as the Portes du Soleil, the choice of lunch venue can be tough, but luckily we’ve spent many years checking out all the mountain restaurants so our guests don’t have to take any chances! Here’s our top 5 recommendations:

1) La Cremaillere, Les Linderets (Goats Village)

Ski a long morning and then settle into this fantastic restaurant in the quaint little hamlet below the Linderets bowl. The menu is extensive with a great range of local meats and game, plus seasonal accompaniments including magnificent chanterelles. Alternatively opt for the Menu du Jour, which never disappoints. A choice of desserts includes a to-die-for mousse au chocolat and a fine tarte au myrtilles. The friendly staff will advise on the best bottle of wine to suit your taste and supply you with a complimentary eau de vie’ on departure.
